Mableton Improvement Coalition is a proud supporter of the Cobb County Adopt-A-Mile program and has adopted Floyd Road between the Post Office and Hicks Road to maintain throughout the year.

Mableton, GA--  On January 15th you can join other Mableton residents as they meet-up for the quarterly litter pick-up on Floyd Road.  Start organizing friends and family NOW to help you celebrate the New Year by helping the community and the environment.

Meet the crew at the Westside Bank on the corner of Floyd Road and Nickajack Road.

It is strongly suggested that you bring sturdy shoes or boots.  Latex gloves, trash bags, vests and beverages will be provided!!!

According to the Mableton Improvement Coalition Newsletter, "it takes less than an hour to clean up the mile of road from Hicks Road to Clay Road and the whole town looks better for it."

GreenBusiness Works EXPO at the Cobb Galleria 26th-28th

Atlanta, GA--  The City of Atlanta’s Sustainability Plan, “Power to Change,” will be presented to environmental leaders throughout the Southeast region in an in-depth forum at the upcoming GreenBusiness Works EXPO: “Poised for Prosperity.” Scheduled for 10:30 AM on Thursday, Oct. 28 at the Cobb Galleria, the debriefing comes on the heels of Mayor Reed’s press conference kicking off Atlanta Sustainability Week with unveiling the sustainability plan, yesterday.
