ATLANTA -- The latest edition of the USA Today Metro Atlanta Super 25 High School Baseball Poll is ready for inspection. There's lots of movement in this week's list, including the top 10.

Loganville is in the top spot with Milton second. Eagle's Landing Christian, East Coweta and McEachern complete the top 5.

Blessed Trinity is next, with Gainesville, Lambert, Walton and South Gwinnett rounding out the top 10.

ATLANTA -- The latest USA Today Metro Atlanta Super 25 Girls Lacrosse Poll is here and the name at the top remains from last week.

The Milton High girls top the charts again this week and Lassiter, Walton, Centennial, and Roswell make up the first five.

Westminster, Alpharetta, Chattahoochee, Mill Creek and McIntosh round out the Top 10.

The Metro Atlanta Super 25 polls are computer generated and produced exclusively by USA Today High School Sports for 11 Alive News.

ATLANTA -- As the season heads for Final Four weekend, the latest edition of the USA Today Metro Atlanta Super 25 Boys Poll is here. There are changes in the top 10 and even the top 5 this week, but no change at the top. 

Miller Grove leads the way again this week, with Columbia, Norcross, North Cobb and Greater Atlanta Christian making up the top 5.

Marist is next with Eagle's Landing, Hillgrove, South Atlanta and Shiloh completing the top 10.

Buford moves from 16 to 13, while Tucker goes from 23 to 18 this week.

North Hall joins the list at 20, while Dacula falls out of this week's poll.

American Family Insurance Top 5 Performances

ATLANTA -- Each week during the high school football season, American Family Insurance will present the All Metro Atlanta top five performances.

This week number 5 is Meatron Thomas' catch and score as Stockbridge beats Dutchtown 45-19.

Number 4 is Ty Griffin's 40 yard touchdown toss to Chris Okeh for the McEachern touchdown.  The Indians beat North Cobb 49-27.

Number 3 is Joshua Robert's halfback pass to John Smith for a Whitewater touchdown.  Whitewater beat Creekside 17-7.

Number 2 is Mario Atkins touchdown strike to Cameron Sutton for Jonesboro's score.  The Cardinals beat Spalding 32-7.

Number 1 this week is Keyante Green's touchdown run for Eagles Landing Christian.  Green rushed for 182 yards and 2 touchdowns as the Chargers blanked Our Lady Of Mercy 49-0.

ATLANTA (WXIA) -- This season, 11Alive.Com and HighSchoolSports.Net will have a weekly Super 25 high school basketball poll for Metro Atlanta schools.  The poll, which is provided by USA Today, will rank both boys and girls teams from all classifications using the Massey Ratings.

With teams from the Atlanta area being ranked among the nation's best again this season, the Super 25 Poll will be a weekly measuring stick. We hope it will spark a conversation about who holds the title of top basketball team in the Atlanta area. We start with the poll for the week of January 2.

High school sports get a new 'beat'

High school sports get a new 'beat'

ATLANTA -- In just one week, Atlanta-area high school sports will get a new beat.

Beats Battle, the brainchild of atlanta.highschoolsports.net and Patchwerk Recording Studios, will give high school students the chance to use their talents to show pride in their schools and teams.

Each week Patchwerk will provide different beats on atlanta.highschoolsports.net. Students can download the beats, add lyrics that praise their favorite high school teams and upload their products to the Web.

Voters can visit atlanta.highschoolsports.net to select a weekly winner. At the end of the season, one grand prize winner will receive recording time in the legendary Patchwerk Studios.

Preview of HighSchoolSports.net : Week 2

ATLANTA, Ga. -- The second week of HighSchoolSports.net will highlight some of the metro area's top gridiron matchups. This week's coverage will begin with Fred Kalil in Snellville previewing the Game of the Week between Collins Hill and Brookwood at 6 o'clock.

The Collins Hill Eagles opened the season, last Friday, with a win over Roswell. While the defending state class AAAAA champions of Brookwood will look to rebound from a season opening loss to Lassiter.

A short drive away, Parkview will host Norcross. The Parkview Panthers fell to Stephenson last week, while the Norcross Blue Devils were deafeated Dacule in an impressive in a season opener.

The 11Alive cameras will hit North Fulton County for Mill Creek at Alpharetta and Walton versus Milton.

While inside the perimeter, Blessed Trinity visits Grady and Redan meets Mays in the nightcap at Grady Stadium.
