Mega Millions rolls to $290M for Friday's drawing | News

ATLANTA (WXIA) - The Georgia Lottery says after no one matched all the numbers drawn Tuesday night, Friday night's Mega Millions jackpot has rolled to $290 million.

Six players from Georgia won $10,000 in Tuesday's drawing, from Acworth, Americus, Blairsville, Rome, Tennille and Villa Rica. One player in Valdosta was able to boost his $10,000 prize to $40,000 with the Megaplier option.

The numbers drawn Tuesday night for Mega Millions were 1, 4, 6, 11, 14 and the Mega Ball 30.

A single winner in Friday night's drawing could pocket about $11 million a year for 26 years with the annuity option. A cash option player could win a single payment of about $205 million. Both of those figures are pre-tax amounts.

The Mega Millions jackpot has rolled over 16 times since Marcia Adams of College Park won $72 million in the January 24 drawing.
