Woman dies 2 days after crash | News

AUSTELL, Ga. -- Cobb County Police continue to investigate a crash that claimed the life of an Austell woman.

Patsy White, 54, passed away at WellStar South Cobb Hospital on Mar. 28, two days after being involved in a crash on Flint Hill Road near Dogwood Hills Court in Austell.

Police said the accident happened shortly before 10 a.m. on Mar. 26. They say 86-year-old Myrtis Angelette of Austell tried to turn her Lincoln Town Car into a driveway; she turned in front of a Dodge Neon driven by 64-year-old Fayenell Engrisch of Mableton.

Engrisch could not avoid hitting Angelette's car, according to police. White was a passenger in Engrisch's car.

Angelette was cited with failure to yield while making a left turn.
