P!nk backup dancer graduated from Pebblebrook HS

MABLETON, Ga. -- Thousands of people will rock out at Philips Arena Friday night when P!nk takes the stage.

That includes the superstar singer's very talented backup dancers, one of whom happens to be from metro Atlanta.

Colt Prattes appeared in P!nk's music video for her hit song "Try," where he showed off some pretty incredible acrobatic skills.

"It's overwhelming, more than anything," the Pebblebrook High School graduate said of the opportunity to tour with P!nk. "I did a lot of Broadway shows before this, and it was just such a different experience, but 20,000 people in Philips Arena -- it's a lot, it's just overwhelming."

Prattes was a member of Pebblebrook's very selective performing arts magnet program.

"They really push you to be all that you can be," he said of the program, adding that it helped him achieve something beyond his wildest dreams -- dancing with P!nk.

And he had nothing but praise for the pop star, describing her as "amazing."

After the tour, Prattes said he plans to focus on his new fitness company, Ripped Together.
