Suspects arrested in Cobb County break-in

COBB COUNTY, Ga. – Police said three people were arrested in connection with the break-in of a vacant home on Sunday.

It happened at a residence off Brookmere Park Drive in Cobb County.

One suspect was immediately taken into custody at the scene; another fled on foot into the tree line. Police say that suspect fired a shot, but it doesn't appear he was shooting at the police.

After a search, that second suspect was found and arrested without incident. A third person was also arrested, according to police.

The suspects arrested were identified as 29-year-old Janet Jackson, 23-year-old Robert Julian and 20-year-old Trendevious Kellogg. They are facing numerous charges include burglary, weapons offenses and reckless conduct.

Cobb County Police are continuing to investigate.
