MARIETTA: CCT fares go up on Oct. 1 | News
MARIETTA, Ga. (AP) - Cobb County commissioners have decided to raise fares for Cobb Community Transit.
The Marietta Daily Journal reports that commissioners on Tuesday voted unanimously to raise the fares, a decision that comes less than a year after fares were last increased.
Authorities say local one-way trips for adult riders will increase from $2 to $2.50. One-way trips on the heavily-used Express buses will go from $4 to $5.
The new fares will take effect Oct. 1.
