ADOPT A PET: Meet Beep | Pets

CARROLLTON, Ga. – If you dream of coming home to a wet nose, wagging tail and tons of kisses (in addition to, perhaps, a half chewed shoe or overturned trashcan) adopt a puppy from your local pet shelter. According to the ASPCA, approximately 5 million to 7 million domesticated animals enter animal shelters nationwide, every year, and approximately 3 million to 4 million are euthanized. However, you can change those numbers but adopting a "companion" for yourself or your family. Pets are an investment but, in our opinion, an investment well worth the money.

According to the Carroll County Animal Shelter, Beep is a cute little Chihuahua who wants a family of his own. He’s still a puppy and it takes him a while to warm up to people. Beep has a short tri-colored coat and the Humane Society thinks he would do best in a home with adults and no young children. Beep can be adopted for $115.

If one should choose to adopt a pet from the Carroll County Humane Society, the adoption fee includes: vaccinations and de-worming, a veterinarian visit, a microchip and surgical sterilization.
