Volunteers needed for Cobb Meals on Wheels

COBB CO., Ga. -- Cobb County is fortunate to have a fantastic Meals on Wheels program, which ensures that homebound seniors received hot meals every day.

The program, which prepares and delivers more than 220 meals a day, desperately needs volunteer drivers in Austell, Kennesaw, Mableton, Marietta, Powder Springs and Smyrna.

The much-appreciated Meals on Wheels volunteers make sure that their clients feel special by personally bringing them the hot, delicious meals.

Anyone who is interesting in "adopting a route" should contact Cobb Senior Services at 770-528-5381.
